Milliteslameters TPU

Purpose:

  • Milliteslameters TPU are designed to measure:
    • magnetic induction of constant magnetic field;
    • amplitude value of magnetic induction of alternating magnetic field with frequency from 0,2 to 1000 Hz (normal range) and from 1000 to 5000 Hz (working range);
    • amlitude value of magnetic induction of impulse magnetic field with duration of edge on the level 0,1 – 0,9 from 0,1 to 2000 ms;
    • half-period average value of magnetic induction of alternating magnetic field with frequency from 0,2 to 1000 Hz (normal range) and from 1000 to 5000 Hz (working range).
  • Milliteslameters allow for observation of waveform of alternating and impulse magnetic field using oscilloscope connected to analog output. Value of milliteslameter's analog output voltage at the upper level readings lies between 1.0V to 1.4V at every measurement range.
  • Depenging on type of measured parameters and measuring ranges six types of milliteslameters TPU are available. They are listed in the table below. Measurement ranges and functions performed by each type of TPU are marked with a cross. In indications range (TPU-02, TPU-05) accuracy isn't claimed so errors are not given.

  • Maximum relative error (δ) in percents of constant magnetic field's magnetic induction measurements doesn't exceed values calculated using following formula (where Вr – selected measurement range, mT; Вi – instrument indication, mT):
        δ = ± [2,0 + 0,1•(Вr/Вi - 1)]
  • Base maximum relative error (δb) in percents of half-period averaging of alternating magnetic field's magnetic induction measurements doesn't exceed values calculated using following formula:
        δb = ± [2,5 + 0,2•(Вr/Вi - 1)]
  • Base maximum relative error (δb) in percents of amplitude values of alternating and impulse magnetic field's magnetic induction measurements doesn't exceed values calculated using following formula:
        δb = ± [5,0 + 0,5•(Вr/Вi - 1)]
  • Additional maximum relative error (δadd) in percents of amplitude values of alternating magnetic field's magnetic induction measurements in frequency working range doesn't exceed values calculated using following formula (where f – frequency of measured alternating magnetic field, kHz):
        δadd = ± 5,0•(f - 1)]
